  1. I thought it was a joke that Nike has a campus building called the "Joe Paterno Child Care Center" but apparently it's true

  2. You know, he's entitled to his opinion and what he says about the Penn State trustees is no more critical than a lot of what I've read here about the likes of Frohnmayer, Pernsteiner, etc. etc.

    The Paterno situation is at least arguable, and I would say that he may well have thought that he was doing enough by reporting what he heard -- not saw for himself -- to the Penn State AD.

    Joe Paterno, RIP.
